I used to travel across the country quite a bit. As I spent time away from home I was always frustrated that I wasn't able to easily make contact with other like-minded musicians in that area. I wished there was a way to know who the musicians were and where the jams were in each of the places I travelled to.

I looked on the Internet for a good resource but didn't find one. So I started this web site.

Initially, I had visions of making my millions off it. :-) I tried to figure out a way to charge those who registered but couldn't really find the value in it and decided no one would pay. If I wouldn't pay for it myself - no one else would be likely to either.

So, I've made it completely free for musicians to register and enjoy the full benefits. My hope is that some day I'll get some teachers to find some value here and give me a few bucks to advertise their service. And I might even attract some advertisers, who knows!

Until then, I'm just going to use it to find jams when I travel! I hope it helps you as well.
